€25,000 Prize Fund for Farmyard Competition

The Farmers Journal/FBD National Farmyard Awards are about recognising and encouraging best practice when it comes to the soft elements of farmyard design. These include fitting in with the landscape, a well-planned layout, use of shelterbelts, building materials and appropriate use of colour. Farm safety will also be a consideration in these awards.

With farmers all over the country set to spend €1.1 billion this year developing their farmyards, it’s an ideal opportunity to showcase the best-looking farmyards in the country.

PRIZES:

• National winner: €5,000
• Overall winner from each of the four provinces: €3,000
• Provincial runner ups: €1,500
• Commemorative trophies
